Name: Delphon
Age in Turns: 58
Appearance: Long grey-brown hair is tied upin a runnertail (ponytail), his bushy eyebrows offten frowning, wether it be from concentraition, worry, anger or just because they have been like that so long. His slightly chubby, short frame shows that he rarely exersizes, but he has the bulk and strength needed to control some of the more skittish or aggresive creations.
Personality: The youngest of the current masters, Delphon still enjoys relitive freedom, without needing to teach as much as the other two masters and still young enough to create creatures that may be a bit too much of a handfull for the other masters to control. His constant frown does not nessisarly mean he is angry, worryed or busy, be even frowns when he laughs! When not knee-deep in work, he is a fun-loving, laidback man who enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Pets: Other than his assortment of experiments and creations, he has a guard canine called Spoff and a sturdy, thick boned bay runner mare called Brontie he created himself from draftbeast and racerunner DNA.
Background: Born in Keroon Hold to a good family of honest holdfolk, Delphon was a good kid who did well at whatever he set his mind too.
At the tender age of 6, he bred his first Runner, a plucky little chestnut Goldrunner called Ginger, from an old mare his grandfather left him and a stallion owned by the Lord Holders Son (He even paid the stud free himself). This impressed the resident herder, and everything looked as if he would become one himself.
But when an illness spread threw the hold when he was 12, and was set to leave for the herder hall, Delphon cared for the many sick, imcluding two healers, and showed skill at the healer craft too.
When the illness had been cured, little Delphon was asked to become an aprentice, thus forced to choose between his two passions. He asked his mother when he should do, and she said heal, for there was a shortage of healers, and healers got a higher wage than any herder would. So he soon left for the healer hall.
When he was 17 and had just walked the tables, the hall recived news that the Master-Gencrafter, Montorez, had passed away, and that a master and the new senior aprentice were comming to pick a new green aprentice. They asked who would like to volenteer to be interviewed, and Delphon put his hand up imediatly.
As the youngest journeyman/woman being interviewed, Delphon also last to be interviewed. But he impressed the genecrafters with his knoledge of both healing and of beasts. He was ecstatic when they choose him.
Delphon speant 5 turns studdying hard, not noticing the masters daughters or grandaughters. Then, one day, the Master-Crafters grandaughter visited from the healer hall. He only needed see her once to know that he was in love with her. She was also the daughter of the senior Aprentice.
With both of their concent, he corted the healer girl, and after three turns, Viven agreed to become his mate. Not long after, Master-Genecrafter Goexel passed away, and Delphon became the middle aprentice.
Delphon and Viven went on to have five sons and six daughters, ensuring their bloodline would continue, even after the pass started, when mortality rates always went up.
In order of birth, their children; Fevoron, Dushketz, Eshmilla, Revedex, Gracie, Lisbeth, Yuri, Jonah, Gabriella, Govex and Vixen.
After many years of training and the deaths of masters Tegara and Quindon, Delphon has finaly become a master. Most his children left for the healer hall before the genehall moved to Cobalt Weyr, but some still live with him and Viven; Yuri (28 Turns), Govex (23 Turns) and Vixen (18 Turns).
